What's New in SpyBrand: Smarter SEO, AEO Checker, and a Redesigned Homepage
We shipped a lot this month — a fully redesigned landing page, a new AEO audit tool, and a deeper SEO system with rank tracking, backlink discovery, and content analysis. Here's what changed and why.
We've been heads-down building for the past few weeks. Here's everything that shipped — no fluff, just what changed and what it means for you. A New Homepage That Actually Explains What We Do The old headline said "Marketing analysis that helps you connect all the dots." Accurate? Sure. Memorable? Not even close. We replaced it with something simpler: "The last marketing tool you'll ever need." Bold claim. We think we can back it up — competitor tracking, AI content generation, SEO rank monitoring, backlink discovery, AEO audits, and a marketing calendar, all in one platform. The rest of the homepage got a visual overhaul too. The static screenshot is gone — in its place is a live animated panel showing real scheduled posts cycling through platforms, with growth metrics updating in real time. It gives you a better sense of what using SpyBrand actually feels like. We also fixed a longstanding CSS issue: border-radius tokens were set to 0px across the entire UI, giving every card and button a brutalist sharp-corner look that nobody asked for. They're now 4–24px depending on context — small change, big difference. The AEO Checker: Is Your Site Visible to AI Search? Google's AI Overviews. ChatGPT Search. Perplexity. Claude. AI is now the first stop for millions of searches — and if your site isn't optimised for how AI engines read and cite content, you're invisible to a growing chunk of your potential audience. That's what AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) is about. And we built a free checker for it. Paste any URL into the Free AEO Checker and you get a full audit in seconds: AI crawler access — checks if your robots.txt blocks GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, or other AI crawlers (a surprisingly common mistake) llms.txt — the emerging standard for telling AI what your site is about, who you are, and what content it can use Schema markup — structured data like FAQ, HowTo, Article, and Organization that AI engines use to understand and cite your content Heading structure — AI models parse heading hierarchies to extract answers; skipped levels (h1 → h3) confuse them Question headings — AI engines prefer to cite pages that directly answer questions; converting section headings to questions significantly improves your chances of being featured Content length and readability — thin pages rarely get cited; the checker flags anything under 300 words Sitemap and meta tags — basic but frequently broken in ways that silently kill your AI visibility Each finding comes with a severity rating (error / warning / info) and a plain-English fix. No jargon, no 40-page report you'll never read. The checker is completely free — no account required. Try it on your site now. SEO: Rank Tracking, Backlinks, and Content Analysis The SEO module got a significant upgrade this month. What was previously a basic keyword tracker is now a proper SEO workspace with four distinct capabilities: Rank Tracker Add up to 5 keywords per project on the free plan (more on paid plans) and S
